Principal and CEO
PSC Consulting

From a young age, Patty Caballero would spend hours untangling puzzles or figuring out word problems. She translated that passion into finding communication solutions for businesses in highly regulated industries.  As a strategic communications leader with over 25 years of experience in the industry, Patty now uses these problem-solving skills to help leaders tell incredible stories to investors, clients, partners, and employees to drive growth.

Growing organizations must navigate the intricacies of attracting investors, generating demand and positioning a company in a competitive marketplace. Patty believes that while these are complex problems, the solution doesn’t have to be complicated. She helps clients navigate a clear path to a narrative that is relevant, resonant and resilient for all their needs.

No matter the problem, Patty finds a way by breaking down complex problems. Her methodology defines the organization, identifies barriers and assesses the audience's needs before developing a story that sticks. She then uses her background in corporate communications, marketing, public relations, and issues management to bring the narrative to life.

Patty’s career spans twelve years at global health insurer Cigna where she played a pivotal role in building the company’s brand and reputation with partners, clients, customers and investors. She also spent many years working at major advertising and public relations agencies, helping clients build and implement marketing and communications strategies. She led U.S. business development at global PR firm Burson-Marsteller and built a communications practice at healthcare marketing giant greyhealth. Her work focused on bringing new thinking and solutions to clients. She understood their challenges intimately and could work alongside them to drive results.

Patty teaches communication strategy and reputation management as a member of the adjunct faculty at the Baruch College Graduate Department of Communication Studies in New York City. An explorer by nature, Patty is always up for new adventures, travel, interesting food, books and new workouts.

Patty is a top notch pro, insightful, understands her craft well, great contacts, and knows how to navigate the corporate structure to achieve the end result.

Having worked with Patty Caballero while I led Bayer Pharmaceuticals Women’s Health Advocacy Relations efforts, I witnessed first hand her tenacity, creativity and talent. Patty was relentlessly energetic, whole-hearted and engaged in our efforts to identify priorities for advocacy organizations, membership societies and other thought leaders in Washington, DC to navigate a challenging women’s reproductive health landscape. Her ideas were fresh and most importantly, I don’t recall one road block or challenge that she didn’t come back with a way forward or idea to refresh our approach. On top of it all, she cares about her work, her clients and the populations she serves. Working with Patty will give you a chance to think about public affairs and communications differently!
